I Musei Capitolini si raccontano grazie alla tecnologia del Google Arts & Culture

Through the Google Arts & Culture project, the Musei Capitolini are now just a mouse click away: the museum can be navigated using Street View, which allows you to move around 360° and get closer to the works of art, exploring them in more detail with the detail sheets, or choose to scroll through the photo galleries of the most significant works in the museums collection.

Finally, with the Gigapixel camera recording of the Annunciazione di Garofalo (Benvenuto Tisi) the work has no more secrets and the many details can be explored and studied.

A huge heritage that can be used by students, tourists and the simply curious, eager to browse through the masterpieces of Roman museums, but also to discover their most hidden treasures.
Google Arts & Culture, part of the Google Cultural Institute, is an online platform dedicated to the public all over the world with the aim of "democratising" access to culture and promoting its preservation for future generations.
