Ritratto di Augusto, il primo imperatore
Performance in the framework of the "Estate nei Musei" series of initiatives.
In conjunction with the exhibition “Ritratti. Le tante facce del potere” (Portraits. The many faces of power ), a show at the Capitoline Museums dedicated to the emperor Octavian Augustus. Images of the exhibition and the marble and bronze busts of emperors will be the brackground to the the words of Horace, Virgil, Lucretius, Tacitus and Suetonius and Shakespeare, Cavafy, Shawqui, Thornton Wilder. On stage actors Mariano Rigillo and Anna Teresa Rossini, the jazz singer Claudia MARSS, music by Salvatore Leggieri, director and narrator Idalberto Fei. Project by Maura Miceli.
