Gemine Muse

Three works by young artists who reinterpret the statue of Aesculapius on display in the Great Hall of Palazzo Nuovo as part of a project which is currently ongoing in 28 Italian cities.
The second edition of the "Gemine Muse" project, presents works by 89 young artists inspired by the exhibits in the museums of 28 Italian cities:
Aosta, Asti, Bari, Biella, Campobasso, Caserta, Catania, Cremona, Ferrara, Florence, Forlì, Genoa, La Spezia, Messina, Milan, Modena, Novara, Padua, Pavia, Prato, Ravenna, Rome, Turin, Trapani, Trento, Udine , Venice, Vercelli.
In the Capitoline Museums Lorenzo Castore, Stefania Di Marco and Mario Vespasiani measured themselves up against the marble statue of Aesculapius on display in the Great Hall of Palazzo Nuovo, giving us their own reinterpretations, on show for the first time.
